    i just finished my short shifter install and what a difference. i got an OBX with neuspeed bearings. if anyone is planning on getting a short shifter, check this one out http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=3535

    was that a pain in the ass install for you? i only had trouble on those two bolts that drop the shifter out, the ones that have a round head and like to turn when you put a wrench on them.

    yeah, those bolts with the oval heads on em..use an open end wrench (either 10 or twelve i can't remember which) to hold them, then your rachet on the bolt..piece o cake.

    Those short throw shifters are the best, i've had mine for a good year now and regulaer shifters just cant compare to the length of the shiftes of the short throws, to anyone reading this that has a 5 speed, spend the money and get one, you'll love it, i promise, and if you dont you can kill me and take my wallet to get the money back that you sent.

    The Easiest way to get those bolts out is to use a 12mm open-end wrench to hold em from what I remember.

    Once you get rid of them...throw them out and jsut replace them with longer 10mm standard bolts out off another Honda.

    I'll have a C's billet shifter up for sale here soon with the 2 GSr and SiR shifter is anyone's interested.

    hey jon..how much for that c's? and do you still have any lenses for an 89? i'm lookin for both the clear corners and amber corners (mine are cracked, and i want a set to pass inspection) and i also need those front bumper lenses.. oh, and do you know where i can get a front lip spoiler for an 89? thanks man..
